A top ranked and highly reputable national law firm is seeking a Marketing & Client Events Specialist to join its Business Development team. This role supports business development and marketing initiatives across several California offices and works closely with a high-performing marketing and BD team. The position offers strong mentorship, a stable and professional culture, and a clear long-term growth path.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing and business development initiatives across select California offices
- Assist with planning and execution of client events, sponsorships, and firm-hosted programs
- Manage invitations, guest tracking, and event logistics from start to finish
- Provide on-the-ground support at client events and firm programs
- Prepare marketing and presentation materials using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Assist with research and preparation for client meetings and pitches
- Coordinate closely with attorneys and internal business development team members
- Provide administrative and project support for ongoing marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1–3 years of professional experience required
- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred (consulting, accounting, engineering, architecture, etc.)
- Exposure to marketing, business development, or client events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional, polished, and comfortable in a fast-paced client-service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
