River Commons Senior Living is looking for an experienced Van Driver to join our team. This position is part time. Scheduled hours vary but generally are from 8:30 AM to 2 PM Monday through Thursday.

Under the direction of the Community Administrator, the Van Driver will coordinate and implement a driving program on a need to basis to meet the individual resident’s transportation needs and interests.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Community Administrator, the Van Driver will coordinate and implement a driving program on a need to basis to meet the individual resident’s transportation needs and interests.
Job Duties
- Drive the company van for weekly outings, weekly grocery shopping trips, weekly scheduled doctor’s appointments, and other scheduled outings when necessary.
- Requests and maintains equipment and supplies. (i.e., van cleaned regularly, refuel when needed, report needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor)
- Coordinates with the Administrator and other department heads all social/recreational programs involved with residents of the facility.
- Complete daily safety inspection and log
- Performs other duties as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor (Community Administrator).

- Valid CA Class C Driver License
- Clean Driving Record
- Experience in transportation
- Experience with the Senior Population
