Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning windows thoroughly and removing any existing tint or debris to ensure proper adhesion of new films
- Measure, cut, and install window tinting films with precision, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to apply tint smoothly without bubbles or imperfections
- Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring a flawless appearance and optimal functionality of the tinted windows
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste materials and tools
- Assist with related vehicle services such as auto glass installation, minor auto body repairs, or detailing as needed
- Follow all safety protocols during installation procedures to prevent damage to vehicles or injury to yourself
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive service background highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with window tinting applications and knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) considerations during installations
- Familiarity with auto glass installation, auto body repair, or vehicle assembly processes is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair enhances your ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software is beneficial
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during installations
- Prior experience working with automotive repair or mechanic roles demonstrates a strong understanding of vehicle systems and safety standards
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
