ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exemplary customer service and responsiveness.
- Follow supervisory directions and employ personal initiative when necessary.
- Work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality.
- Previous experience, knowledge and successful implementation of strategies for working with students who lack behavioral skills or willingness to be trained.
- Delivery of behavioral interventions, build relationships and assist the school staff to support students with behavioral health needs in partnership with families, community, and community service providers.
- Responsible for maintenance of accurate program records and working with supervisor to plan instruction.
- Willingness to use evaluation data and constructive criticism to improve performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Collect and analyze student behavior data and monitor student academic and behavioral progress.
- Assist students in meeting behavioral goals.
- Support students in following their behavior plans.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques consistently.
- Attend student centered coaching trainings.
- Provide reflection opportunities with students.

Provide reteaching opportunities within self-regulation and management.

Provide small group interventions for small groups as needed.

Work with teachers to implement best practices in classroom management
- Participate in District meetings to communicate information and gain feedback and/or direction on a variety of issues.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies to ensure availability of required items.
- Distribute documents and materials to appropriate staff, students and/or parents.
- Answer phones including support for other departments, taking messages, responding to voicemails and/or forwarding calls.
- Perform clerical duties to assist in the daily activities for the building and administrator(s).
- Assists with supervision of students to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist other personnel as may be required to support them with the completion of their work activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- AA degree, required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Prior job-related experience preferred but not required.
- Bilingual and/or Biliterate (Spanish), preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a K-12 setting preferred but not required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures.
