Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
- Assist in coordinating and managing events, ensuring all logistics run smoothly from setup to cleanup
- Handle cash transactions accurately during food service or retail activities, maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Support guest services by resolving conflicts amicably and efficiently to ensure a positive experience for all visitors
- Contribute to hospitality efforts by setting up venues, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Engage with guests of all ages using effective communication skills; work with children during activities or entertainment sessions
- Maintain safety protocols as a lifeguard or in other safety-sensitive roles to ensure a secure environment for everyone
Experience
- Prior experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or entertainment settings
- Background in food service or restaurant operations is a plus
- Lifeguard experience or certification preferred; must be willing to obtain certification if not already certified
- Public speaking or theater experience beneficial for engaging audiences and leading activities
