Job Title: Assembly - Level I
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Range: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour
Summary: Assembles and deburrs parts, works with glue, sands parts and packages finished parts by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Bonds blocks*
- Deburrs parts*
- Sands parts*
- Prepares parts in accordance with company standards*
- Mixes glue*
- Masks parts*
- Fills gaps on parts*
- Packs parts*
- Makes boxes*
- Cuts cardboard*
- Fixes damaged parts*
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
