Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Automotive Diesel Technician based in Stroudsburg, PA. The technician will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel vehicles. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical issues, replacing faulty components, maintaining detailed repair records, and ensuring all work complies with safety and manufacturer standards. Work will involve problem-solving, collaborating with team members, and delivering high-quality results to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines and vehicle systems
- Prior Ford dealer experience is required
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, specialized tools, and repair procedures
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, maintenance practices, and repair techniques
- Familiarity with safety standards and automotive repair guidelines
- Preferred certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team while effectively managing assigned tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physical capability to handle tools and lift heavy vehicle parts when required
