Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or continue a career in the plumbing trade while learning hands-on from experienced, licensed plumbers.
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and/or commercial settings while gaining practical experience and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings under supervision
- Help diagnose plumbing issues and perform basic repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
- Complete required training and apprenticeship coursework (if applicable)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- CLEAN DRIVING record w/ reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Punctual, dependable, and professional attitude
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an apprenticeship program
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous construction or plumbing experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and tools
- OSHA or safety training (a plus, but not required)
