What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter position at Ray Laethem Buick GMC?
POSITION OVERVIEW: As an Automotive Porter, you'll be an essential part of our dealership operations. You'll move, clean, and maintain vehicles to ensure a smooth workflow and polished presentation. This role supports, sales, and body shop by keeping the lot organized, vehicles clean, and customers happy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely move vehicles around the dealership to the designated area
- Maintain vehicle exteriors free of snow, insects, and other environmental residue
- Preform basic maintenance task, replenishing fuel, tire pressure, batteries, and changing flat tires
- Keep accurate records of vehicle locations, VINs, and conditions: create stock tags, key tags, and parking lot organization
- Assist with maintaining a clean parking lot, sidewalks, and shops
- Greet customers, and support other departments as requested
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the service shop and service restrooms
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Personal Auto Insurance
- Ability to work full time
