What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Custodian (240 days) position at Rawlinson Road Middle School?
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all requirements and Board of Education policies
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Maintenance - General Services
Length of Contract: 240/8 hours per day (Flexible Summer days)
Starting Date: As soon as position is filled
