General Overview: Rawlings is opening its very own D-BAT Training Academy franchise, and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the location. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the overall operations of the DBAT O’Fallon facility. The AGM will play a crucial role in supporting our General Manager to deliver exceptional customer service, effective baseball and softball instruction, and operational efficiency. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for developing baseball and softball players of all ages and abilities, and the ability to foster a positive environment. Duties
- Support GM in cultivating and growing key partnerships to reach target customers.
- Cultivate brand awareness within the community through new and existing relationships.
- Coordinate and support day-to-day activities such as lessons, rentals, equipment sales, and special events.
- Train and mentor pro shop staff and instructors.
- Foster strong connections with parents, coaches, and youth to drive participation and satisfaction.
- Support GM in creating opportunities, programs, and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Coordination and execution of camps/clinics/programs and lessons
- Support GM in executing Sales and Marketing Plan to drive memberships, camps/clinics, merchandise sales, participation, and revenue growth.
- Support and enforce standards for facility maintenance, cleanliness, and employee image.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior college baseball or softball experience preferred
- Experience coaching or instructing baseball/softball player development.
- Bring a positive, entrepreneurial attitude with expertise in sports training, youth programs, and retail.
- Experience leading teams.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, and/or operational leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to establish lasting relationships.
- Entrepreneurial or startup experience is advantageous.
- Strong team leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in various technological platforms (e.g., Google Docs, Constant Contact, Social Media).
- Available to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
