We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Voice Instructor to provide private voice lessons to both kids and adults at a busy music school. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of teaching experience, thrive in a collaborative environment, and be available Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 8 pm. This role requires a self-motivated instructor who can work independently while maintaining strong relationships with students and fellow instructors. A reliable car is necessary for commuting to the school.
Responsibilities
- Deliver private voice training lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Develop lesson plans that enhance vocal technique and musicality
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly
- Prepare students for performances and concerts.
- Engage students to foster a supportive and motivating learning environment
- Collaborate effectively with other instructors and staff
- Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage improvement
- Incorporate music theory instruction relevant to vocal performance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in voice instruction
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Music, Vocal Performance, or related field
- Proficiency in vocal technique and voice pedagogy
