IT System Administrator

Raw Seafoods & Ice Cube Cold Storage is currently seeking a highly capable System Administrator to support IT enterprise operations across multiple sites in a 24/7 production environment. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience administering Windows and cloud-based server environments, managing virtualized infrastructure, maintaining network and security systems, and supporting mission-critical business applications. This role is responsible for ensuring system availability, implementing security best practices, monitoring performance across all environments, and providing advanced technical support to end users. Candidates must be proficient in troubleshooting complex issues, managing cloud services, and maintaining stable, secure, and scalable IT systems.Essential Duties: Network & Server Management: Maintain and monitor servers (Linux/Windows), network infrastructure and cloud services to ensure 24/7 uptime across production and storage facilities.ERP & Manufacturing Systems: Support and optimize ERP, MES, and inventory management platforms used in seafood processing and distribution.Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data (e.g., HACCP, FDA, traceability systems) and ensure compliance with industry regulations.Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.User Support & Training: Provide Tier 2/3 support to staff across production, logistics, and office teams; train users on best practices and new technologies.Vendor & Equipment Management: Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, and refrigeration control systems maintenance and upgrades.Manage and troubleshoot: LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs across multiple locations.Deploy software: Updates, patches, and enhancements while ensuring system stability and security.Document IT systems: Network configurations, and standard operating procedures.Assist in IT projects: System upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)5-7 years of IT experience with system administration, networking, and IT support.Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).2 years of experience in system/network administration, preferably in manufacturing or logisticsExperience managing networks and IT support across multiple locations.Proficient with Microsoft 365, collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint), and business-critical software, WMS and ERP.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsStrong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in high-demand environments.Experience with asset management and ticketing systems (ManageEngine, ServiceNow).Understanding of scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred)Experience with VoIP phone systemsRaw Seafoods is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
