Proposal Manager

Do you excel at turning technical ideas into compelling, client-ready proposals? Are you energized by coordinating teams, managing deadlines, and helping win impactful infrastructure projects? If so, we’d love to have you on our team. As our Proposal Manager, you will play a critical role in securing new work by leading the development of winning proposals for civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with technical teams to translate engineering expertise into clear, persuasive, and compliant submissions for municipal, state, federal, and private-sector clients.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Principals and Department Managers to gather project information, photos, and other content for marketing materials and produce effective marketing strategies.
• Manage the proposal team and coordinate strategy, content, schedules, and final production to deliver compelling, on-time Request for Qualifications and RFP responses, including graphics
• Manage the Facebook, Linkedin and Website pages. Monitor logo/branding, company website
• Development/production of marketing collateral (i.e. project sheets, resumes, brochures and presentations
• Support coordination efforts and developing materials for industry events and conferences
• Help maintain marketing databases, templates, and content libraries to support efficient pursuit delivery.
• Manage multiple pursuits and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Craft cohesive proposal narratives that align team strategy, project experience, and client needs
• Implement the company’s advertising, promotional, and branding initiatives to support strategic goals
• Analyze target-market data and industry trends to recommend effective marketing approaches
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging marketing technologies, tools, and best practices
• Represent the firm at professional organizations, client events.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee marketing support activities to ensure deadlines are met
• Work with marketing and management teams to develop templates and standard marketing deliverables

What We’re Looking For

• 3-7 years of marketing experience in the A/E/C or civil engineering industry
• 4-year degree in marketing, English, communications or engineering field
• Strong Leadership ability, managing staff. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational, time-management, and project-management skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written English, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in developing marketing strategies and proposals
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain discretion is required
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe InDesign is highly valuable

Pay Range- $40-$50
