Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector (NICET Level III or IV) for projects in the Syracuse, NY area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction inspection, with water and/or wastewater project experience preferred.
Qualifications
- NICET Level III or IV certification.
- Experience in construction inspection and monitoring.
- Water and/or wastewater experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project personnel.
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspections to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor construction activities and document daily progress.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain project records.
- Identify and report construction deficiencies or potential issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and engineering staff.
