Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for enterprise-level data, analytics, and technology initiatives. This role requires a servant leader who can guide cross-functional teams, remove impediments, and ensure consistent application of Scrum practices while aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Act as a servant leader and coach to product owners, development teams, and stakeholders
- Drive team performance by promoting self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Identify, track, and remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution and delivery
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand objectives, requirements, and system constraints
- Support delivery of enterprise data, analytics, and modernization programs
- Analyze business problems and recommend solutions through feasibility and cost-benefit analysis
- Ensure transparency using Agile tools like Jira and maintain sprint metrics, velocity, and reporting
- Align Agile delivery with organizational goals and enterprise standards
- Work within large-scale IT environments and complex system landscapes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Strong expertise in Scrum framework and Agile methodologies
- Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing delivery cycles
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to remove blockers and optimize team performance
- Experience working on enterprise-level technology or data platform initiatives
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent
- Experience working on government or public sector IT projects
- Exposure to business analysis, system design, or process improvement
