Ravenscroft School seeks a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members of our community. Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
What You'll Do
Cleaning and Sanitation
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and spot cleaning
- Remove trash and recycling and dispose of waste in designated containers
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Restock paper products, soap, and other restroom supplies
- Clean windows, glass doors, and high-touch surfaces
Compliance and Safety
- Follow all established cleaning procedures and schedules
- Use cleaning products and equipment safety and in accordance with instructions
- Report any safety hazards, equipment issues or supply shortages to relevant individuals
Team and Support
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working independently or as a team
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations
- Perform other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow verbal written instructions
- Dependability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Preferred
- least one year of experience in professional cleaning
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time, as well as lift and carry up to 35 pounds and push or maneuver cleaning equipment and carts. The role may involve safely using ladders or step stools and working with standard cleaning products in environments with dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Work may take place both indoors and outdoors and may require flexibility to support early mornings, evenings, weekends, or special events as needed.
