What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zoning Secretary and Records Clerk position at Ravenna Township Government?
Ravenna Township is seeking a part-time Zoning Secretary and Records Clerk. The person in this position will be assisting the Zoning Inspector in tracking the records for the Zoning Department, recording minutes of meetings, correspondence, answering the telephone and coordinating communications within the Zoning Department. Attendance at periodic evening meetings is required. The position will also serve as secretarial support for the Trustees and other department heads throughout the township. As Records Clerk, the position will be responsible for organizing and tracking the records of the township utilizing the records retention schedule and responsible for organizing the proper destruction of records according to that schedule in coordination with the Fiscal Officer. Computer proficiency, accuracy and good communication and organizational skills are critical skills required in the successful applicant.
