What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Aide position at Ravenna School District?
The Ravenna School District is now hiring Educational Assistants (Para-Professional) to assist special needs/autistic students with personal health care and behavioral needs within the educational setting.
Hours will 8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (7 hours per day - 6.5 hour with ½ hour unpaid lunch).
This position runs concurrent with the student school year, mid August - May and include health benefits and life insurance.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
- Clear FBI/BCI background check. You can also obtain a background check at our office, the cost is $46.00.
- Must have/apply for an Educational Aide permit through the Ohio Department of Education. The cost is $25.
