Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team and manage a high volume of real estate transaction files from start to finish. This person will be responsible for handling 30–40 active files simultaneously, ensuring smooth and timely closings, and being the operational engine that keeps deals moving.
This is a fast-paced role for someone who thrives under pressure, has exceptional communication skills, and can confidently interact with attorneys, title companies, and all stakeholders involved in a transaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 30–40 active transaction files at any given time, keeping all parties aligned and deals on track.
- Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, lenders, buyers, sellers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth closings.
- Prepare, review, and organize closing documents, purchase agreements, and compliance paperwork.
- Track critical dates, contingencies, deposits, and deadlines to avoid delays.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues quickly.
- Assist with entity formation, contract execution, and post-closing follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical records for all files.
- Support executive team with special projects, due diligence, and legal correspondence as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of paralegal experience in residential or commercial real estate transactions.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume closings and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of contracts, title, escrow, and closing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to speak confidently with attorneys and clients.
- Tech-savvy and highly organized with an eye for detail.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Notary public (preferred but not required).
