Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, maintenance, and remodeling tasks across residential and commercial properties using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction or renovation projects.
- Install doors, trim carpentry, cabinetry, flooring, tile, drywall, stucco, and other finishing elements with precision.
- Conduct inspections on construction sites to ensure safety compliance and quality standards are met.
- Operate heavy equipment and perform concrete forming, finishing, masonry, or restoration work as needed.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks under supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
- Fabricate custom components or structures using welding, fabrication techniques, or carpentry skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, remodeling, or general labor roles with familiarity in various trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or painting.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with Bluebeam software is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating and site inspection processes.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and working with hazardous materials.
- Experience with concrete finishing, tile laying, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet installation, framing carpentry, door hanging, caulking, and hardscape work is highly desirable.
