Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes accurately.
• Repair and troubleshoot various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems with precision and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols during repairs, ensuring all electrical and mechanical components are handled properly.
• Conduct appliance installations and assemblies in customers’ homes or commercial settings.
• Use a box truck or similar vehicle to transport tools, parts, and equipment safely to job sites.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up requirements for each job.
• Be flexible and willing to do some Handyman type repairs as well as appliance repair

Skills

• Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
• Solid electrical experience combined with refrigeration knowledge is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and equipment repair enhances versatility in the field.
• Experience working as a delivery driver or operating a box truck is beneficial for transportation needs.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
