Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless spray guns, power tools, and hand tools with precision.
- Use buffing machines and detailing techniques to achieve a flawless finish on painted surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished work to verify color match, smoothness, and overall appearance before vehicle return.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs while delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto body repair, auto painting, or a dealership environment is highly preferred.
- Paint certification and I-CAR certifications are required.
- Ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely during repairs or prep work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
