Security Officer Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Provide static, mobile, and executive/VIP protection within the Tri-Cities / Virginia and Tennessee area
- Perform regular patrols to deter, detect, and report suspicious activity
- Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents and take necessary actions
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed
- Offer outstanding customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their questions or concerns
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and responses
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred
- Armed Security License Preferred - can license in house
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer literacy for report writing
- Physical fitness for patrols and rapid response
- Preferred: Virginia or Tennessee armed license; Bristol/Tri-Cities areas
