Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Somerville, MA. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, and communicating effectively with customers and team members about vehicle needs and recommended solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, repair, and routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tire services
- Experience with using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in order to address complex vehicle issues
- Ability to communicate automotive issues and solutions effectively to customers and team members
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
- Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or education is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the automotive repair or service industry is highly desirable
