Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant at Raveco Medical OB/GYN, located in Queens, NY. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered medical care under the supervision of physicians. Daily tasks include conducting patient assessments, obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in procedures, and developing treatment plans. The role also involves providing patient education, coordinating care, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, performing physical exams, and managing treatment plans
- Ability to order, interpret, and explain diagnostic tests to patients
- Experience in patient education and relationship-building to provide empathetic, quality care
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant and certification from the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
- Experience in OB/GYN or women’s health care is a strong advantage
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following all applicable healthcare laws and guideline
- Interest in working long-term in a private practice setting
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
