Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable, friendly, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team in Benton Harbor, Michigan. As a Budtender, you will be the face of our dispensary, assisting customers in selecting cannabis products while providing a safe, welcoming, and educational experience.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Educate customers on cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Recommend products based on customer needs, preferences, and desired effects
- Process transactions accurately using a POS system
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with Michigan cannabis laws
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, strains, and industry trends
- Keep sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Accurately weigh, package, and label products
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure repeat business
Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must comply with all state and local cannabis regulations
- Previous cannabis experience preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, terpenes, and consumption methods
- Experience in a dispensary or similar retail environment
- Passion for the cannabis industry and customer
