Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Serve food items and beverages with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces regularly to meet food safety standards
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to support quality service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service, with strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and sales reconciliation
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in all duties
