Purpose
This role is a part of Ravago’s Domestic Transportation Department. The department supports ~30 of Ravago’s Business Divisions and manages a transportation budget of ~$125M and ~150,000 shipments annually. As a Tracking & Tracing Coordinator, you will be responsible for making sure any delays or deviations from requested pickup and required delivery are effectively communicated to the affected parties in as timely of a manner as possible. The Tracking & Tracing Coordinator should be able to complete follow-up on all pickups and deliveries in a time frame that allows for a proactive response from the rest of the Transportation team to any delays. The Tracking & Tracing Coordinator will also be expected to manage the delay reason coding for all delayed shipments. This coding is key in determining root causes of delays and how we can prevent them. The Tracking & Tracing Coordinator will be expected to collaborate closely with the rest of the Transportation team to help with rescheduling pickups, arranging redeliveries and expedites, as well as keeping all necessary parties informed along the way.

- Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority)
- Act as a direct contact for Account Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Product Coordinators, and Management for any follow up on delayed shipments
- Track and trace all shipments within a timeframe that allows for proactive responses to delays Keep delay reason coding up to date.
- Complete follow up on all pickup and deliveries in a time frame that allows for a proactive response from the rest of the Transportation team
- Manage the delay reason coding for all delayed shipments and determine how to prevent them
- Entire month should be coded by the following week of a new month to allow for complete monthly reports to the commercial teams
- Support excellent carrier and warehouse relationships
- Secondary Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority)
- Act as a direct contact for Account Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Product Coordinators, and Management for any follow up on delayed shipments
- Track and trace all shipments within a timeframe that allows for proactive responses to delays
- Keep delay reason coding up to date. Entire month should be coded by the following week of a new month to allow for complete monthly reports to the commercial teams
- Maintain TMS updates (OTM and Project44)
- Support excellent carrier and warehouse relationships
- Ability to provide rotational afterhours coverage for 2-3 weeks of the year

- Knowledge of transportation modes and warehouse operations
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in transportation and/or warehousing preferred
- Licenses / Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license – required
- Language:
- Proficiency in English required
- Bi-Lingual – Spanish is a plus
