Purpose Of Role
Ensure profitable RMA product sales growth through support of Business Managers on new product development and/or product transfer between facilities. Support internal and external customer satisfaction through the development, trialing, testing, improvement, formulation, maintenance and rationalization of RMA or tolled products, as well as obtain regulatory/customer specific approval of new and existing products. This role functions as a technical resource between operations, quality, commercial, scheduling, and customer service.

Essential Functions
- Support RMA through interface with Technology Manager, customers and RMA plants to successfully produce/develop customer offerings that meet technical specifications as well as RMA profitability guidelines
- Sample formulation, production, testing and approvals for RMA products
- Formulate item numbers balancing commercial margin and product performance
- Product/Plant rationalization to support RMA organizational growth
- Collaborate with quality team to develop measurables to demonstrate progress and success
- Support Baytown operations by delivering Test Plans, In Process, and Process SOC documentation
- Function as subject matter expert and primary contact for distribution channels for the designated product line relating to quality troubleshooting, extrusion performance, and formulation efficacy
- Other duties, as assigned
- Associate’s Degree or advanced degree preferred
- 3 years related laboratory/quality/plastic processing experience
- Compounding, formulation, specimen molding & testing and data reporting experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, people management and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail oriented, disciplined, ability to prioritize & multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Must be able to lift 55lbs.
- Must have color vision
- Have use of fingers and hands for writing and typing
- Ability to climb straight incline ladders.
- Occasionally reach with hands & arms; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl.
