Mays Chemical, a Ravago Company, is currently recruiting for a Production Assistant Intern based out of the Greenwood facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations and special projects within Production; gaining practical skills while contributing meaningfully to the company. This position provides hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real-world workplace practices.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Practice the principals of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement under the GFSI guidelines and follow established cGMP practices.
- Aid with day-to-day administrative, operational, or project-related tasks.
- Support team members by assisting or completing assigned duties in the facility's office, warehouse, and/or production rooms.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team activities.
- Help organize files, records, or materials (digital and/or physical), including tasks of updating data in Datacor software application.
- Process incoming raw materials and work with inventory tracking under the guidance of the Warehouse Coordinator and Production Manager.
- Complete assigned projects within established timelines.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in high school, college, or university, or recently graduated.
- Strong interest in learning and professional development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant coursework or interest related to the department.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability monitored by self and leadership.
- Willingness to ask questions and take initiative.
- Positive attitude and reliability.
