Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

- General Policy
- Manage 24 X 7 coverage of the laboratory in a cost-effective, yet customer responsive manner.
- Manage/mentor Quality Technicians to help them increase their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems (documentation, internal audits, registrar audits, management review, etc.).
- Maintain the ISO 17025 quality system (documentation, internal audits, registrar audits, etc.) and serve as the managerial, technical leader/liaison for this system.
- Promote and support continuous improvement throughout the company.
- Ensure laboratory equipment uptime of 100% through a robust PM program and recommending replacement/upgrade purchases as use/business warrants.
- Steward of all formulations to ensure that a quality product is produced.
- Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
- Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
- Other duties as assigned by Commercial Operations Manager.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
- Experience:
- ISO 9001/14001/45001/17025 Internal Auditor.
- Plastic test specimen preparation, handling and testing experience.
- Forklift license required.
- Root cause analysis.
