General
- Ensure spaces are maintained and cleaned by emptying trash and recycle bins, tidying furniture, dusting surfaces, and picking up debris and trash on facility grounds.
- Operate floor scrubber, sweep, and mop floors.
- Remove extraneous dirt/markings from interior and exterior vertical/horizontal surfaces (walls, doors, etc.).
- Maintain working conditions of cleaning equipment.
- Maintain a clean work space.
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance & Safety Supervisor.
- Notify the Maintenance & Safety Supervisor for supply replenishment.
- Adhere to safety measures for cleaning, lifting, moving, and operating equipment.
- Maintain a safe working environment; observe all OSHA and Company safety policies.
- Identify and generate near-miss reports (Stop Stories) and other elements of risk.
- Education:
- Minimum of GED or two years related experience and/or training – preferred.
- Ability to maintain machinery necessary to perform a specialized task.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore must be adaptable to.
- Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise.
- This job operates both interior and exterior of the building; the incumbent will be exposed to outside weather conditions.
- The job on a rare occasion works in elevations up to 75 feet.
- Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
