Rauser Builders is hiring a Carpentry Foreman to lead field crews on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Gallatin Valley and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities
As a Carpentry Foreman, you will lead daily jobsite operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the standards Rauser Builders is known for.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead Field Crews
- Supervise and work alongside carpenters and laborers on active job sites
- Set the pace for productivity, safety, and craftsmanship
- Mentor and train crew members to strengthen the team
- Perform and oversee framing, structural carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes
- Maintain consistent quality from layout through completion
- Coordinate daily work with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers
- Help maintain project schedules and resolve field issues quickly
- Proactively ensure that materials, equipment, and tools are available and properly used
- Inspect work throughout construction phases to ensure accuracy, quality workmanship, and compliance with applicable building codes, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA guidelines
- Conduct regularly scheduled safety jobsite safety checks
- Provide daily updates to project management
- Maintain jobsite documentation, photographs, and progress reports

- 5 years experience in carpentry or general construction skills
- Strong background in framing and structural carpentry
- Experience leading crews or serving as a lead carpenter / foreman
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain jobsite efficiency
- Clear communication with crews, subcontractors, and management
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift materials and work in outdoor construction environments
