We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Administrative Assistant to support our Collections Department, Attorneys, and Accounting team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth administrative operations and accurate financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Note: This list is not exhaustive and may be expanded based on business needs.
- Monitor and alert collectors of failed credit card transactions, NSF checks, and % to Goal reports.
- Accurately enter, delete, or edit payment transactions as required.
- Prepare, merge, and edit letters related to settlements, payment arrangements, balances, and other collection matters in accordance with file arrangements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, WordPerfect).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking with strong attention to detail.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior administrative or collections experience is a plus.
