Rausch Infrastructure, LLC is looking for a Project Estimator to add to our team.
Rausch Infrastructure is a growing civil heavy highway general contractor that tackles both large and small projects and competes with firms in the ENR Top 400.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate complete project estimates for heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Review contract drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define scope of work.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Develop bid strategies, including means and methods, sequencing, and production assumptions.
- Identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities within bid documents.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes, including DBE participation where applicable.
- Utilize historical cost data and past project performance to support estimate development.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and leadership throughout the bidding process.
- Lead or assist in the handoff of project information to operations teams upon award.
- Assist with post-bid analysis and cost comparisons to improve future estimates.
- Manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Skills
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience.
- Experience with a general contractor and heavy civil construction is required.
- Experience bidding DOT, municipal, and infrastructure work is preferred.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and P6.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
