Junior Civil Engineer

RAUCH, Inc. is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Easton Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants hands-on experience with land development, stormwater management, and site design while working alongside experienced engineers, surveyors, environmental professionals, and construction specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with civil engineering design for land development and site projects
• Prepare stormwater management, grading, erosion and sediment control plans
• Assist with site layouts, utility design, drainage calculations, and permitting
• Prepare and review engineering plans, details, and technical documents
• Coordinate with surveyors, environmental staff, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Perform field visits and assist with construction-related activities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 0 to 3 years of civil engineering experience preferred
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred, Carlson & Excel
• Interest in stormwater management and land development
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
• EIT certification or interest in pursuing professional licensure preferred

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• Salary range of $52,000-$80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
