Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve Agency Revenue Targets: Sell new insurance policies and services to prospective clients, aligning offerings with their unique needs and upholding Rathbun Insurance’s core values.
- Expand Professional Network: Participate in industry events and local networking opportunities to foster connections and partnerships while building Rathbun’s reputation in the community.
- Cultivate Client Relationships: Nurture relationships through open communication, personalized service, and a commitment to “Being There Matters Most.”
- Stay Informed: Maintain extensive knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide valuable guidance to clients and insights to the sales team.
- Exceed Sales Goals: Meet or exceed established sales quotas and targets, contributing to the financial success of the agency.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a steady pipeline of potential business opportunities through timely follow-up and collaborative efforts with the sales team.
Qualifications
- State of Michigan P&C Producer License (required)
- Over five years of proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a professional environment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to professional growth and staying current with industry developments.
Support Team: The Commercial Lines department is supported by three experienced account managers, ensuring producers have the resources needed to succeed.
