Receptionist

Rathbun Insurance is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our agency. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive experience for every client, prospect, and visitor by delivering exceptional service both over the phone and in person. The Receptionist is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, professional environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring every interaction reflects Rathbun Insurance's commitment to outstanding customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and takes pride in creating a positive first impression while supporting the success of the entire team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Day-to-day responsibility for answering phones and properly routing calls

· Properly handle incoming and outgoing mail, scanning all incoming documents

· into agency document management system each day

· Retrieve documents from carrier websites as appropriate from carrier websites for handling by Account Managers

· Train staff in the use of phone system

· All other duties as assigned by Inside Sales Manager

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience working with basic multiple line PBX phone system w/monitor

· Experience working document management preferred

• Hourly Rate (38-hour work week)
