Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Mortgage Loan Processor who is passionate about creating an outstanding client experience.

As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for guiding each loan from contract to closing while ensuring files are complete, compliant, and moving efficiently through the mortgage process. You will serve as one of the primary points of contact for borrowers, providing exceptional communication, managing deadlines, and working closely with Loan Officers, underwriters, title companies, and other industry partners to ensure every transaction closes smoothly and on time.

What You Will Do:

• Manage mortgage files from contract through closing.
• Gather, review, and verify borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare quality loan files for underwriting while minimizing conditions.
• Communicate with borrowers throughout the loan process by providing updates, requesting documentation, and answering questions.
• Coordinate with Loan Officers, underwriters, title companies, appraisers, insurance agents, and other third party partners.
• Monitor critical deadlines including appraisals, underwriting conditions, closing disclosures, and scheduled closings.
• Identify potential issues early and proactively work toward solutions before they impact closing.
• Maintain accurate loan status updates within LendingPad and other company systems.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication.
• Contribute ideas that improve workflow, efficiency, and the overall client experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education or certifications in finance, mortgage lending, or real estate are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan processing or transaction coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non QM loan programs.
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and mortgage documentation requirements.
• Experience using Loan Origination Systems, such as LendingPad.
• Comfortable working within multiple software platforms, CRMs, and technology tools simultaneously.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files while meeting deadlines.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow as the mortgage industry continues to evolve.
