As a Sales Manager of the Corporate Commercial Team, you will have the opportunity to work with major travel and brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company to support in scaling Sojern’s business by uncovering new business opportunities with clients in your assigned market(s). The Role:
As a Sales Manager of the Corporate Commercial Team, you will have the opportunity to work with major travel and brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company to support in scaling Sojern’s business by uncovering new business opportunities with clients in your assigned market(s). This is a remote job position.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure strategically, new customers in the assigned market(s)
- Responsible for driving Sojern’s revenue growth of business in the assigned market(s)
- Independently create and deliver persuasive presentations that educate the market and demonstrate Sojern’s value proposition
- Develops and implements an extensive strategy that maximizes Sojern's opportunities across all products
- Take a lead role in developing, managing and growing an advertising book of business predominantly in the travel sector.
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth handover of new campaigns, effective QBRs and continue to monitor campaign success for learning and driving efficiencies.
- Negotiate and secure insertion orders on behalf of Company to achieve set business goals through commercial terms that include commission levels and advantageous upselling opportunities
- Maintaining an accurate forecast of sales opportunities in the pipeline for timely execution
- On a quarterly basis, achieving and exceeding targets with your astute sales strategies
- Research and discover (& effectively implement) methods to increase customer engagement and retention
- Keep abreast of any regional hotel electronic distribution and marketing trends: new, emerging or changing
- Deep understanding of the business culture in the assigned market(s) to drive optimal client engagement
- Aligning and Executing Sales Strategy - Establishing a plan to achieve the unit’s sales objectives, taking into consideration the overall business and sales goals, market opportunities, past sales results, and available resources; reviewing progress and adjusting the plan as needed.

- Sales Negotiation - Effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements that gain customers’ acceptance and commitment.
- Targeting Sales Opportunities - Identifying the most promising new sales opportunities by uncovering emerging business and market issues and then identifying potential customer organizations and their influential decision makers who would be interested in improving these business results

- 4 years overall experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experiences in hospitality, digital and programmatic advertising and/or travel industry
