Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Editor / Motion Designer to join our marketing creative team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for editing and animating compelling social-first videos, designing motion graphics, and crafting dynamic, high-performing content for digital and social platforms. Your work will help bring our brand stories to life, engage audiences, and drive performance across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble engaging social-first videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn, using strong pacing, storytelling, and sound design to capture audience attention in the first few seconds.

• Design and animate motion graphics, kinetic typography, visual effects, and animated elements for marketing campaigns, ads, and video content.

• Blend motion design and editorial seamlessly, adding animated intros, transitions, lower thirds, and other motion elements to elevate video storytelling.

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop energetic, visually striking, and performance-minded content that aligns with brand messaging and campaign objectives.

• Optimize video and animation output for different platforms, ensuring the right formats, aspect ratios, captions, and durations for each channel.

• Incorporate branding elements (logos, color palettes, typography) to maintain visual consistency across all content.

• Work closely with designers, content creators, and producers to create cohesive campaigns and ensure smooth post-production workflows.

• Develop short-form edits, explainers, and product demos that tell clear stories and hold attention throughout.

• Stay up to date on social content trends, platform algorithms, and editing styles to keep our output fresh, relevant, and competitive.

• Ensure all assets are organized and delivered in efficient file structures for easy team access.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a video editor and motion designer in marketing, advertising, or social content creation.

• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools.

• Demonstrated ability to craft social-first edits that prioritize pacing, emotion, and entertainment value.

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, rhythm, and composition in both editing and motion design.

• Experience designing and animating 2D and light 3D motion graphics, including text treatments and brand assets.

• Knowledge of social media trends, content formats, and performance best practices for short-form video.

• Familiarity with sound design, music selection, and how they enhance pacing and tone in social video.

• Experience with motion tracking, visual effects, and compositing is a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with creative, strategy, and production teams.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced creative workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Motion Design, Film, Multimedia Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Experience editing high-performing social content (please include examples or reels demonstrating this).

• Familiarity with performance marketing and creating content optimized for engagement and conversion.

• Knowledge of 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya) is a plus.

• Experience A/B testing edits or animations for ad performance is a plus.
