Rastelli’s is looking to hire a Forklift Operator to join our growing team in Swedesboro, New Jersey

Job Description: Operate forklift and other qualified machinery to aid production efforts. Complete all necessary paperwork to record movement of product throughout the production floor.

Duties:

· Work directly with the production line by moving raw materials, packaging, supplies, finished goods, and other items to and from the warehouse, freezers, coolers, shipping and receiving docks. Accurately record all movement of materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods. Accurately complete all required paperwork.

· Report shortages of needed raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to the appropriate supervisors. Inform maintenance of any issues dealing with machinery to ensure safety on equipment.

· Remove line waste. Maintain a neat and organized work area, perform general housekeeping of personal workstation.

· Continually preform visual inspections focused on safety hazards and report this to a supervisor so that issues may be resolved. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices. Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required. Perform other duties as required or assigned

· Follow all standard operation procedures, company policies and provincial and federal safety guidelines. Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency. Participate in training and cross training, and help coworkers as needed.

· Follow all Safety requirements including, housekeeping, LO/TO, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and engage in facility safety efforts. Participate in the improvement of product, services, and processes. Preform regular housekeeping of individual station. Constantly preforming visual inspections in regards to safety and quality

Related Experience/Requirements:

· Must be forklift certified

· 2-years of experience working in production line (Preferred).

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs. off of the floor.

· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Full time position Monday -Friday at our 540 Franklinville Rd., Mullica Hill location.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
