Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plasterer/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing various plastering tasks, including taping, plastering, and sanding, to contribute to the finishing of interior and exterior surfaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plastering techniques and a strong work ethic to ensure quality craftsmanship on every project.
Duties
. OSHA 10 required
- Apply joint tape to seams and corners of drywall or plasterboard surfaces.
- Mix and prepare plaster materials according to project specifications.
- Spread, smooth, and finish plaster on walls, ceilings, or other surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Sand surfaces after plastering to ensure a smooth, even appearance.
- Assist with other labor tasks as needed on construction sites, including site preparation and cleanup.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all phases of the job.
Skills
- Experience in taping, plastering, and sanding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and blueprints.
