About the Role
Rare Wellness is seeking a dynamic, people-centered Front Desk / Movement Coordinator to lead our front-of-house experience while growing our community and client engagement. You’ll be the central hub of the studio—overseeing daily operations, supporting every service area (movement, massage, and aesthetics), teaching and subbing classes as needed, and building the connections that help clients engage fully with all Rare Wellness offers.
This role blends studio leadership, client experience, and business growth. We’re looking for someone proactive and relational who is energized by building something—someone who connects naturally, makes thoughtful recommendations, and follows through to bring new opportunities to life.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 40 hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Day Shift required). Occasional weekend hours for events and to manage teacher and MindBody needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Front Desk Leadership
- Oversee daily studio flow to ensure a seamless, welcoming client experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact, greeting and checking clients in and out with warmth and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and elevated front desk and studio environment
- Support class setup, transitions, and overall studio readiness
- Monitor inventory across departments and proactively restock supplies
- Complete daily cash reconciliation and support basic financial tracking
- Learn and manage the MindBody scheduling platform
Movement Leadership
- Certified movement instructor to teach movement classes as scheduled (strength formats preferred: Functional Strength, HIIT, Barre, Yoga Sculpt)
- Step in to sub classes as needed to keep the schedule consistent (ability to sub yoga is a plus)
- Support class quality, attendance, and the overall movement experience
- Collaborate with instructors on class offerings, themes, and growth opportunities
Client Experience & Revenue Awareness
- Educate clients on services, memberships, and promotions across movement, massage, and aesthetics
- Make thoughtful, personalized recommendations that enhance the client experience
- Support retail sales and build product knowledge
- Identify opportunities to improve client retention and overall experience
Community Growth & Partnerships
- Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and schools
- Initiate and support collaborations that bring new clients into Rare Wellness
- Represent Rare Wellness through outreach, events, and partnerships
Event Planning & Execution
- Help create and execute monthly in-studio and off-site events
- Collaborate with instructors and leadership on seasonal offerings and special events
- Bring forward ideas and follow through on execution
- Coordinate teacher gatherings
Team Support & Studio Culture
- Support instructors and team members in maintaining a cohesive, high-quality experience
- Communicate clearly and consistently with leadership
- Help uphold the culture, energy, and standards of Rare Wellness

Qualifications
- Previous movement instruction experience; strength-based formats preferred (HIIT, Barre, Yoga Sculpt, or Pilates)
- Yoga certification or experience is a plus
- Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with scheduling platforms (MindBody or similar), daily financial reporting, and inventory systems is a plus
- Familiarity with wellness or medical environments is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
