Overview
The Program Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This leadership position requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive environment that promotes growth, independence, and well-being among participants. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of administrative expertise, relationship management skills, and a passion for program development in the behavioral health sector.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise program staff, ensuring effective delivery of services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement program policies and procedures that align with best practices in social work and behavioral health.
  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability and resource allocation for program initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders, including families, community organizations, and regulatory agencies to enhance program visibility and support.
  • Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for participants.
  • Provide training and support to staff on best practices in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing service delivery within the field.
  • · Take/ Enter Attendance in Iconnect
  • Complete Intake documents for new consumers (Consents/ANE/ Med admin for clients who take meds etc.)
  • Add client’s Birthdays to the Birthday Wall/Spreadsheet
  • Check the Personnel Spreadsheet weekly to ensure dates on documents and training remain current
  • Complete Client Implementation Plans (within 1st week of client starting ADT)
  • Create Monthly Calendars (I will let you know the dates I’m giving everyone off each month)
  • Review ADT consumer notes and complete/review monthly summaries (For each Consumer)
  • Make a supply list for ADT and give it to Owner via email.
  • Ensure all supports are filling out the ADT visitor's log.
  • Enter Transportation Logs into Iconnect and file a paper copy of logs.
  • Assist with transportation if needed

Experience

  • Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
  • Strong supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Background in administrative tasks, including budgeting and program management.
  • Experience in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, capable of engaging various stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability in program development and enhancement initiatives within the behavioral health sector.

Education / Certifications/ Job Requirements

· AA-General Degree or 4 Years of field-related Experience

· TRAIN FL Trainings (Zero Tolerance, HIPPA, HIV/AIDS, DCCC, CPR/First Aid, Requirements for All waiver Providers)

· Level 2 Background Screening and Local Law Background Screening

· Driver’s License

· Car Registration & Vehicle Insurance

· 65G-Medication Training

· PEFA Training

· PCM Training
