Role Description
This is an on-site role for an Accounts Receivable & Payables Analyst at Rare Editions in New York, NY. The analyst will be responsible for daily tasks related to accounts receivable operations, assisting with financial transactions, and supporting the accounting team. Salary based on experience.
AR & AP Analyst Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyze receivables and payables: Ensure accurate processing of incoming/outgoing payments and maintain records.
- Resolve discrepancies: Investigate and resolve payment issues and discrepancies in customer accounts.
- Data entry and reconciliation: Assist in data entry and basic reconciliation tasks.
- Communication: Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and obtain necessary documents.
- Reporting: Generate and reconcile customer accounts receivable & payables reports.
Junior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing accounts receivable & payables: Support the AR team in optimizing accounts receivable processes.
- Data entry: Focus on basic data entry tasks related to accounts receivable as well as Accounts Payable.
- Maintain accurate records: Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operations related to receivables.
- Communication: Maintain excellent relationships with clients and resolve any discrepancies.
