Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect located in Chattanooga, TN. The Architect will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as architectural design, project management, construction management, mentoring other architects, doing redlines and specifications for building projects.
Qualifications

- Ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
- Experience in drawing and detailing of integrated building systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture.
- NCARB certified is a plus,
- Architectural license.
Licensed Architect / Building & Construction
Our firm is looking to add an Architect who is eager to grow in career potential and help our team produce designs for a variety of projects throughout Tennessee, Georgia, and the southeast.
We are looking for a candidate with approximately 5-10 years of experience and degree from a NAAB accredited Architectural program. Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Suite, and strong design ideas are important to excel in this position. As a small firm, our team members need an ability to communicate clearly. This includes graphics, written, and verbal communications.
Licensure and Registration is a requirement of the position but those in the process will be considered as it is an office culture and is required for advancement.
The following are the benefits and compensation that would be part of this position.
- Health Insurance: The Company will provide payment for employee coverage starting after 90 days of employment. Any desired family coverage would be paid for by the employee.
- Vacation and Sick Leave (Personal Days): 2 weeks for the first year of employment, 3 weeks for the 2nd through 4th years of employment, 4 weeks for all years after that.
- Holidays: 7 days per year (56 hours).
- Employees at their option may participate in the 401k savings plan after one year of employment with the firm. The Firm will match your 401k contribution dollar-for-dollar up to 4% of your salary.
- Finder's Fee: 3% of the firm's net fee for the project (Net fee= Total fee less consultant's fee).
- The starting pay scale for this position will be based on years and quality of experience.
- Bonus: Year-end bonus is given to employees based upon the combination of the performance of the individual, length of employment and the profits realized by the company.
