You'll be out in the field capturing authentic photo and short-form video content, confidently guiding and directing clients on-camera to make them feel comfortable and natural. On the back end, you’ll edit videos, design graphic assets, write engaging hooks and captions, and manage content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Content Direction: Comfortably direct clients on-camera by guiding their poses, speaking points, and delivery to produce natural, engaging content.
- Editing & Design: Edit short-form video using CapCut or Instagram Edits, and craft graphic assets using Canva.
- Strategy & Planning: Brainstorm fresh concepts, write compelling captions with strong CTAs, and maintain organized content calendars.
- Team Communication: Collaborate closely with the internal team via Slack with fast response times and active participation.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on social media experience with a portfolio of work showing real examples of video/graphic content you've produced.
- On-Camera / Direction Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; confident meeting with clients and making them feel at ease in front of the lens.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled with mobile/camera photography and short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Instagram Edits, Canva).
- Creative Mindset: A proactive thinker who brings fresh ideas and new angles to the table, rather than just waiting for direction.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and hit tight deadlines on a part-time schedule.
- Logistics Requirements:Located in the Kansas City metro area.
- Reliable personal vehicle / mode of transportation for client visits.
- Working smartphone and computer (bonus points if you bring your own dedicated camera or extra production gear!).
