Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive baseball training sessions tailored to different skill levels
- Teach fundamental baseball techniques such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running
- Motivate players to achieve their personal best through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
- Organize team practices, drills, and game strategies to promote teamwork and sportsmanship
- Monitor player behavior and enforce safety protocols during all activities
- Coordinate with parents, school staff, or community organizations to support team participation and events
- Maintain equipment inventories and ensure all gear is safe, clean, and ready for use
Requirements
- Prior experience in sports coaching, especially baseball or similar team sports
- Strong background in physical education or teaching physical skills to children or adolescents
- Knowledge of sports coaching techniques combined with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with students or youth in educational or recreational settings
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster a positive team environment
- Additional skills in Lifeguard experience, Swimming, Karate, Martial arts, Cheerleading, Climbing, Judo are a plus for versatile coaching capabilities
- Ability to demonstrate leadership while maintaining a lively and motivating presence
